Syntagma book series aims to promote innovative and avant-garde investigations from apparently distant regions of knowledge such as philosophy and the broad spectrum of life sciences. Under the sign of scrutiny and critical capacity as they were proposed, supported and developed in our tradition, Syntagma book series, which is deliberately bilingual, represents a space open to all those researches animated by the need to overcome the increasingly thin gap between ‘hard sciences’ and ‘soft sciences’, in order to suggest complex mosaics of contemporary reality. All this in the belief that in the history of human thought the most fruitful developments have often occurred in the points of interference and intersection between different lines of observation. These lines may have their roots in absolutely different parts of human culture, in the inhomogeneity of their times and, even, in heterogeneous approaches. Therefore, if they truly meet, that is, if they come to a relationships close enough to give rise to an effective interaction, then one can hope that they can follow new and interesting developments. Under this polar star, the works that will be published are characterized by what is the distinctive mark of every knowledge that wants and, above all, know how to be called secular: the profound spirit of anti-dogmatism.
